Welcome back to Whatcha Up To! Coffee here, and here’s to the end of another week.

December looms ahead, but there’s still stuff to catch up with in this last week of November. Let’s break down what happened this time around:

Whatcha Playin’, Coffee?

I was able to renew Super Mario RPG for at least another week! Lucky me. Currently at Bean Valley and heading for the second-to-last Star Piece. In fact, Super Mario RPG has been the only thing I’ve played this whole week because…

Whatcha Writin’, Coffee?

I’m on a roll with the writing! Finished Chapter 26 and went straight to 27. I had to rework it a bit from my original concept – gotta love plantsing haha – but the chapter is turning out great so far. I’m aiming to start the next chapter by Monday. That one and the next few will lay the groundwork for the next couple of arcs in the story. I’m so pumped to start! Heck, if I keep up this blistering pace, I could be finished a lot sooner than I thought I would!

Whatcha Readin’, Coffee?

I focused on the second of my library holds, Shorefall. Which is EPIC by the way! Usually, the second book in a trilogy is considered the weaker entry, but this one was anything but weak! It’s another one that I finished within a day. That climax though reminds me of what happens in the end of The Well of Ascension of the Mistborn trilogy. I really need to re-read that series again, it feels like it’s been too long since I read it last.

Next up though, I think I’m going to bite the bullet and start reading Traces of Two Pasts, the Final Fantasy VII Remake novel starring Tifa and Aerith. I just hope that me reading the novel doesn’t influence the fanfic too much.

How’s Trainin’, Coffee?

Not much training this week. The usual, in fact. Oh, I did get a new watch that I can use for my workouts, but I haven’t tested it out for that purpose just yet. It’s super spiffy though; it makes me feel like a secret agent or something. I might write something about it in a future post.

That’s it for what’s been happening recently. Anything new on your end? Let me know below. Otherwise, I’ll talk to you next week!
